Job summary

Responsibilities include coordinating evaluations, ensuring timelines, and coordinating services per IEP/504 across multiple schools, with emphasis on effective communication and compliance with district policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in special education, or a Master’s in educational administration.
• Valid Professional Educator License in Special Education or School Support Personnel with supervisory endorsement.
• At least two years of experience in special education.

Responsibilities

• Serve as local district representative at required meetings under IDEA and as the 504 Coordinator.
• Coordinate IEP/504 processes and ensure timelines are met.
• Ensure parental notices/consents are provided in the native language where feasible.
• Chair IEP and 504 conferences and act as District Representative.
• Enter student data into SSM and arrange services per IEP/504.
