Special Education Case Manager

AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Special Education Case Manager for the upcoming 2025/2026 school year.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to Special Education from an accredited college or university
• Valid Special Education Teaching Certificate/License in California with case management experience
• Proficiency in the subject area; experience with case management, paperwork, compliance, and IEPs
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations affecting special education
• Must demonstrate initiative and ability to handle multiple tasks
• Physical requirements: ability to stand or sit for extended periods, see and read printed and digital materials, hear and understand speech, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 40 pounds

Job Description:

Caseload and classroom type will vary based on school location. Recruitment specialists will discuss details upon application to match you with the most suitable classroom based on your experience and skills.

Contract duration: through the 2025/2026 school year, 37.5 to 40 hours per week, following the academic district calendar.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging, effective lesson plans and programs tailored to students’ needs
• Adapt curriculum based on IEPs and diverse learning styles
• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and strategies for support at home
• Create a safe, organized, and positive learning environment
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote a productive classroom
• Provide individualized and group instruction, using specialized techniques for diverse learners
• Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction accordingly
• Modify curriculum and materials to meet IEP goals
• Conduct evaluations and maintain accurate student records
• Collaborate with educators and specialists to support student success
• Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices
• Ensure compliance with special education regulations and complete necessary documentation

Salary:

$2,062.00 – $2,250.00/week, DOE and location
