• Coordinate necessary student supports and collaborate with the school principal and staff to ensure that special education students receive the services they need
• Facilitate monthly meetings with building special educators and meet with the Director of Student Services, other coordinators, and special education team members as needed
• Review policies and procedures with building colleagues; disseminate important district information; organize and plan MCAS accommodations for students with IEPs in collaboration with administration and MCAS coordinators
• Provide guidance and support for new and ongoing special education initiatives
