Job summary

Anova Education is seeking an Elementary Special Education Coordinator to supervise and coordinate district SPED programs and staff. You will act as liaison for compliance with state and federal regulations and support implementation of IEP processes.

You will work with the Principal and Pupil Personnel Services director to plan staff development, supervise SPED teachers, and ensure timely documentation andTeam meeting processes.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required in education or a related field.
• Minimum three years experience in Special Education.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal Special Education laws/regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and supervisory abilities; clear written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monitoring, implementation, and compliance of all required special education procedures per state and federal regulations.
• Ensure programs, locations, class sizes, and related procedures comply with Special Education Regulations.
• Oversee and facilitate instructional and student activities, including testing, inclusive teaching, and transition planning.
