Qualifications

• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for classes with written plans and appropriate instructional methods.
• Ensure access to grade-level curriculum for all learners.
• Plan and use instructional strategies reflecting diverse learning styles.
• Prepare ARD/IEP documents and participate in ARD Committee meetings.
• Work with general education teachers to modify curricula for special education students.
• Collaborate with staff to set instructional goals and methods.
• Provide inclusion supports as required by IEP load.
• Oversee instructional aides and assign tasks.
