Job summary

International Leadership of Texas is seeking a certified teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to provide core academic instruction and support students with autism, intellectual disabilities and emotional disabilities. The role emphasizes ARD/IEP collaboration, behavior management, and collaboration with general education staff to adapt curricula.

The compensation package starts at $64,000 and includes a $10,000 SPED stipend and a $3,000 late hire bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with Core Content endorsements, preferred.
• Experience with ARD/IEP processes and behavior management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and accommodations.
• Plan instructional strategies reflecting diverse learning styles and needs.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Prepare ARD/IEP documents and participate in ARD meetings.
• Collaborate with general education staff to modify curricula for students with disabilities.
• Supervise instructional aides and manage classroom resources.
• Support students in self-help skills and behavior improvement.
• Maintain records and documentation per district requirements.
• Establish professional communication with parents, students, and staff.
