Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; must meet physical requirements and paraprofessional qualifications.
• Experience with EI and CPI de-escalation; data collection and analysis under behavior specialist guidance.
• Able to communicate effectively; work within a multi-disciplinary team in a structured setting.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the behavior specialist and center program staff to respond to crisis situations.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team to respond quickly in the event of a crisis.
• Provide positive behavior supports to students with and without behavior intervention plans.
• Work with classroom teams to reinforce positive behavior expectations.
• Attend team/parent meetings, as directed.
• Other duties as assigned
