Justice Resource Institute's Pelham Academy seeks a Teacher’s Assistant to support our adolescents in a residential treatment setting. You will assist teachers and students, fostering a safe, engaging learning environment and modeling positive coping skills.

Requirements include a High School diploma, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work evenings, holidays, and weekends. JRI offers benefits, license reimbursements, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Special Education or Mental Health setting experience strongly preferred.
• Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting students is required.
• Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
• At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our students!
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.
