Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks an assistant teacher to support students with special needs in K-12 classrooms.

You will work with a teacher to deliver small‑group instruction, monitor progress, and tailor materials within SESI’s CASE PBIS framework. The role requires collaboration with staff, implementing behavior supports, and data tracking while ensuring safe supervision of students.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• College experience or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds and lead small group instruction.
• Partner with the teacher to provide customized behavior and academic support and conduct assessments.
• Reinforce students’ learning and track progress using data to determine materials and tasks.
• Assist the teacher with large group activities, grading, and providing accommodations as needed.
• Utilize behavior support and de-escalation techniques to ensure student safety.
