Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, is seeking an assistant teacher to support students with special needs in K-12 settings. You will work with a teacher to deliver individualized services, monitor progress, and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.

Responsibilities include leading small groups, implementing behavior and academic support, and using data to tailor instruction. Paid training and benefits available; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred (highly).
• Experience with students with special needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Lead small group instruction using the SESI model.
• Partner with the teacher to provide behavior and academic support and assessments.
• Reinforce learning, assign tasks, and tailor materials based on data.
• Assist with large group activities, grading, and accommodations.
• Utilize behavior support, de-escalation, and crisis prevention.
• Support daily plans and track student growth toward goals.
• Supervise students and coordinate with other staff.
