Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks an assistant teacher to work with small groups and support a diverse student population in K-12 settings.

You will collaborate with teachers to implement the SESI model, monitor progress, and use data to tailor instruction. Training is provided, with a focus on PBIS and behavioral supports to ensure student safety and success.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting K-12 students with diverse needs.
• Ability to implement behavioral interventions and support strategies.
• Comfort with data to monitor progress and guide instruction.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varied backgrounds.
• Lead small group instruction alongside the teacher.
• Provide customized behavior and academic support and assist with assessments.
• Reinforce learning and assign relevant tasks based on data.
• Assist with large group activities, grading, and providing accommodations.
• Utilize behavior support strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Support daily planning and classroom routines.
