Bachelor's degree required with prior experience with developmental disabilities preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with children with developmental disabilities preferred.
• PCM training and Practitioner level certification required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing instruction per IEP with supervising teacher.
• Prepare for and participate in parent conferences and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Provide supervision and documentation during after-school emergencies.
• Support curricular and extracurricular activities and events.
• Complete instructional duties as assigned by supervising teachers and administrators.
• Provide independent instruction and classroom management in the absence of the supervising teacher.
• Implement behavioral protocols during instructional and non-instructional times.
• Participate in staff meetings and in-service training.
• Assist with implementing technology in instruction per directions.
