Qualifications

• PCM training provided by the department with certification at Practitioner level or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience with children with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of instruction in accordance with students' IEP in cooperation with a supervising teacher.
• Prepare for and participate in parent conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Assume responsibilities during after-school emergencies including supervision and communication.
• Provide support for curricular and extracurricular activities and events.
• Complete instructional-related duties as assigned by supervising teachers.
• Provide independent instruction and classroom management in the absence of the supervising teacher.
• Implement behavioral protocols during instructional and non-instructional times.
• Contribute to in-service training and staff meetings professionally.
• Assist with technology integration in instructional design and delivery.
