Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking an assistant teacher to support K-12 students requiring additional supports in in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

You will work with a diverse group of learners, assist with small group instruction, and collaborate with teachers to implement SESI’s instructional model and CASE PBIS framework. Responsibilities include tracking student growth, supporting individualized plans, and ensuring safety and appropriate accommodations

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
College experience or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
Lead small group instruction aligned with SESI’s instructional model.
Partner with the teacher to provide behavior and academic support and conduct assessments.
Assist the teacher with large group activities, grading, and accommodations as needed.
Utilize behavior support strategies and crisis management when necessary.
Support daily plans and monitor student growth toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
