Job summary

Qualifications

• Assists in planning and implementing educational and behavioral programs for students with disabilities.
• Performs clerical tasks and supports teachers with lesson preparation and assessment.
• Monitors student progress and provides one-to-one or small group tutoring as needed.

Responsibilities

• Confer with teacher and assist in preparing lessons and materials.
• Record grades and monitor student progress in required reports.
• Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, and during activities; reinforce positive behavior.
