Job summary

The Eugene School District 4J is seeking a part-time Instructional Assistant to support teachers in classrooms for students with developmental or other learning disabilities. The role runs on a 192-day school-year schedule (CL-192), 6.75 hours daily, 8:30am–3:45pm, Monday through Friday.

Candidates must demonstrate Highly Qualified status per Oregon requirements and provide HQ documentation with the application.

Qualifications

• Official transcripts showing 72 credits or 48 semester credits.
• Associate degree or higher required (attach diploma).
• HQ documentation must be attached to application.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in planning and implementing educational/behavioral programs.
• Provide instructional assistance using standard lessons and prep with teacher approval.
• Monitor student progress and testing; support minor group instruction.
