The Eugene School District 4J is seeking an instructional assistant for a part-time, .875 FTE position to support a classroom with students who have developmental or other learning differences. The schedule is 7 hours per day, Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m.

• HQ status must be demonstrated by transcripts or degree.

Responsibilities

• Confer with teacher and assist in lesson preparation; directly instruct students and administer tests.
• Monitor and supervise students in activities; tutor one-to-one or in small groups.
• Prepare classroom materials and maintain filing system; update bulletin boards with curriculum-related displays.
• Arrange parent-teacher conferences; coordinate with other staff as needed.
• May supervise students during transportation and ensure safety protocols are followed.
