Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires High school diploma or GED.
• Experience as a teacher aide or with children.
• Ability to lift, position and assist students.
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers by executing instructional duties and preparing materials.
• Supervise student behavior and manage centers during independent work.
• Utilize behavior management techniques as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with language development activities and reading aloud.
• Operate classroom tech and audiovisual equipment as required.
• Support with clerical tasks and data recording.
• Provide assistance with personal hygiene and basic care as needed.
