Qualifikationen

• Completion of RI Department of Education TA Pre-Employment Training Program; exceptions apply for out-of-state TA certification or higher ed with relevant coursework.
• Must meet one of: ParaPro Assessment passed; or 2 years of college; or associate degree or higher.
• CPI certification must be completed upon hiring.

Aufgaben

• Communicates high and clear expectations for students.
• Provides 1:1 instructional, physical, social-emotional, and behavioral support.
• Assists students with daily living tasks as needed (feeding, dressing, bathroom, etc.).
• Collects skill acquisition data.
• Maintains CPI certification.
• Collaborates with general and special education staff to address student needs.
• Participates in professional learning activities.
• Demonstrates reliability in attendance and professional ethics.
