Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Completion of RI RIDE TA Pre-Employment Training Program; two exceptions listed.
• ParaPro Assessment or 2 years of college or higher degree required.
• CPI certification must be completed upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Communicates high and clear expectations for students.
• Fosters independence and grit in learners.
• Implements instructional supports and behavior strategies as directed by the team.
• Collects skill acquisition data.
• Maintains CPI certification.
• Completes Medicaid logs as directed for individual students.
• Establishes supportive relationships with students with disabilities.
• Collaborates with general education and special education staff.
• Participates in professional learning activities.
• Exhibits reliability, attendance, and professional ethics; completes forms and data collections accurately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
