Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• TA Pre-Employment Training Program approved by RI Department of Education; exceptions listed.
• Must meet one of: ParaPro, 2 years of higher education, or associate degree/bachelor degree with relevant coursework.
• CPI certification completed upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Communicates high expectations for students.
• Fosters independence and grit in learners.
• Implements instructional and behavioral supports as directed by the team.
• Collects skill acquisition data and maintains CPI certification.
• Completes Medicaid logs as directed.
• Collaborates with general and special education staff to support students.

Education

High school diploma
