Job summary

Responsibilities

• Support students in achieving academic, social, and behavioral goals outlined in IEPs.
• Work one-on-one and in small groups to reinforce classroom instruction.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Encourage student independence while implementing behavior support plans.
• Assist with classroom observation and documentation of progress.
• Provide personal care support, including toileting, feeding, dressing, lifting, transferring as needed.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
• Assist students during transportation and school transitions when necessary.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, families, and other educational professionals.
