Job summary

Greeley-Evans School District 6 is seeking a Special Education Assistant at Tointon Academy of Pre-Engineering. This non-exempt, on-site role supports students with significant needs and contributes to a structured, inclusive learning environment.

The position requires an AA degree or 48 semester hours or WorkKeys scores; CPI and CPR/First Aid training are provided. 182-day contract with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for internal salary credits.

Qualifications

• AA degree or 48 semester hours or passing scores on WorkKeys exam.
• CPI and CPR/First Aid training are provided.
• Experience supporting students with special needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support academic programming and progress for students with significant needs.
• Provide student-specific personal care and support.
• Assist with daily classroom activities, data collection, and equipment sanitization.
• Respond quickly to student needs; maintain upper body strength to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Collaborate with staff in a team-oriented school environment.
