Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher to implement the IEPs.
• Assist students as needed to fulfill their educational needs.
• Help students develop a sense of independence and personal responsibility.
• Provide lavatory assistance when necessary.
• Assist students during lunch and recreational activities.
• Assist students to and from classes.
• Assist students on trips.
• Understands and maintains the academic and behavioral standards set for the students by the certified teacher.
• Assist students loading and unloading on buses.
• Assist in active therapy programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
