Job summary

Denton Independent School District is seeking an ARD Facilitator to coordinate and facilitate ARD meetings, ensuring compliance documents for students in Special Education. You will provide consultation to teachers, parents, and staff on IEPs and strategies for learning, while upholding federal, state, and local regulations.

The role requires collaboration with campus principals, diagnosticians, and district personnel to support eligible students and ensure accurate ARD processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced eligibility.
• Certification as required by the State Board for Educator Certification in special education.
• Diagnostician certification in progress preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate ARD meetings and plan compliance documents for students eligible for Special Education.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and staff on Individualized Education Programs and learning strategies.
• Ensure district compliance with local, state and federal special education laws.
• Maintain and manage ARD documentation, scheduling, and communications with families.
