Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or required training for subject/level assigned.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ARD meetings and completion of required ARD paperwork.
• Monitor implementation of IEPs and facilitate communication with parents and staff.
• Coordinate scheduling of ARD meetings and establish meeting guidelines.
• Ensure timelines are met for ARD committee processes.
• Maintain communication between special and general education personnel regarding ARD and IEP.
• Support student achievement and delivery of special education services per IEP.
• Collaborate with teachers to address student achievement needs and improve programs.
• Assist in monitoring the instructional process to align with IEP outcomes.
