Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas seeks an ARD Facilitator to support students with diverse learning needs by guiding ARD committee meetings, ensuring compliance with IDEA and ARD processes, and coordinating IEP development with parents and school staff.

You will lead meetings, monitor progress, and provide training to staff, ensuring timely documentation and adherence to district policies in a fast-paced educational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field required; master's preferred but not required.
• Valid Texas Educator Certification required; additional certifications preferred but not required.
• In-depth understanding of IDEA and ARD process is essential.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration with ability to facilitate meetings and ensure compliance.
• Familiarity with data-driven decision-making, student assessment, and IEP development; CPR certification preferred.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ARD Meetings: Plan, coordinate, and lead ARD committee meetings to develop, review, and revise IEPs for students.
• Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to federal and state special education laws and district policies for ARD decisions.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with parents, teachers, administrators, related service providers, and team members.
• Support IEP Development: Guide the team in creating IEPs that are specific and measurable.
• Monitor Progress: Track progress toward IEP goals and recommend adjustments.
• Provide Training and Support: Train staff on ARD processes and laws to ensure consistency.
• Maintain Documentation: Ensure ARD-related documents are completed accurately and timely.
