Job summary

Splendora Independent School District is seeking an ARD Facilitator to coordinate Annual, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and oversee ARD paperwork. You will monitor IEP implementation and facilitate clear communication between parents and staff to support student outcomes.

You will report to the Campus Principal/Director of Special Education, collaborate with special and general education teams, and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements while advancing instructional

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state and federal laws for educating students with disabilities.
• Understanding of the individual needs of students with disabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents and staff.
• Ability to implement policies and procedures.
• Ability to interpret data.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule or assist in scheduling ARD meetings and establish meeting guidelines.
• Facilitate ARD committee discussions to ensure participation and resolve disagreements.
• Ensure timelines for ARD meetings are met according to regulations.
• Maintain communication between special and general education personnel regarding ARD decisions and IEPs.
• Support students by ensuring delivery of special education curriculum according to IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers to address student achievement deficiencies and promote effective programs.
• Monitor the ARD process to align activities with desired outcomes and IEPs.
