Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking an ARD Facilitator to support Texas public schools. You will plan, coordinate, and lead ARD committee meetings to develop and revise IEPs, ensuring legal compliance and effective collaboration with families and educators.

The role emphasizes data-driven IEP development, progress monitoring, and staff training to maintain high standards of inclusion and accountability across the district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required. Master's in Educational Leadership or Special Education preferred but not required.
• Valid Texas Educator Certification required; Principal or Special Education certifications preferred but not required.
• In-depth knowledge of IDEA and ARD process; strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ARD Meetings: plan, coordinate, and lead ARD committee meetings to develop, review, and revise IEPs.
• Ensure Compliance with federal/state special education laws and district policies.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and service providers to ensure clear communication and shared decision-making.
• Support IEP development: guide teams to create specific, measurable IEPs aligned with goals.
• Monitor Progress: review data, provide recommendations, and adjust as needed.
• Provide training on ARD processes, laws, and best practices to staff.
• Maintain ARD-related documentation including notices, minutes, and finalized IEPs.
