Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. is hiring a Special Education Aide for West Brook Middle School. The successful candidate will assist teachers and manage classroom dynamics to facilitate students' educational experiences.

This non-affiliated position works 5.75 hours a day during a 10-month school year and is not eligible for benefits. Candidates require a high school diploma and must demonstrate a capacity for working effectively with school-aged children.

Job Goal(s):

To assist the principal and/or teachers in maintaining a well-organized, smoothly functioning class environment in which students can take full advantage of the instructional program and resource materials.

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma
2. Ability to work effectively with school aged children
3. Demonstrated interest in education and students

Salary:

Hourly rate, determined by prior school-based experience and position category

Resource andICS $19.60-$22.45 per hour

Requirements:

1. New Jersey resident or willingness to relocate

2. Controlled substance testing and successful completion of criminal history background check are required of all applicants offered employment.

Evaluation:

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Non-Certified Personnel.
