Job summary

Paramus Public Schools is seeking a Classroom Aide at Parkway Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is a 10-month role, 5.75 hours per day, with no benefits, and reports to the Principal or Teacher.

The ideal candidate holds a High School diploma, can work well with school-aged children, and shows a sincere interest in education. The role requires assisting with toileting needs as needed and supporting instructional activities.

Salary

$24.70 - $29.45 per hour, determined by prior school-based ABA experience

2. Controlled substance testing and successful completion of criminal history background check are required of all applicants offered employment.

Evaluation

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Non-Certified Personnel.
