Job summary

Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District is hiring an Aide/Paraprofessional for the RESET Special Education program at the Middle/High School level for the 2026-2027 year. Qualifications

• Proof of high school graduation or GED required.
• Experience with special needs students preferred.

• Flexible and able to adjust daily routine.
• Three years of experience with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with campus staff to implement academic, behavioral and social-emotional strategies.
• Manages behavior of students in the RESET program.
• Balances time between RESET classroom and general education checks.
• Follows Behavior Intervention Plans and IEPs for RESET students.
• Implements RESET program elements including data collection and reinforcement.
• Participates in district training in RESET and Special Education.
• Provides behavioral support and collaborates with staff and RESET teacher.
• Maintains portfolios with data-driven documentation for RESET students.
• Uses Review 360 to chart and monitor RESET student behaviors.
• Maintains classroom logs and monitoring sheets.
• Obtains and maintains CPI certification; ongoing professional development.
• Promotes welfare of children and stays current on trauma-informed practices.
• Shows initiative and grows professionally; accepts constructive feedback.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
