Job summary

Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District is seeking an Aide/Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year at a high school in Cypress, Texas. Starting date is immediate; 187 days per year with a salary of $21,739 plus a $1,000 annual stipend for resource aides.

The role supports teachers, assists students with disabilities, prepares instructional materials, maintains the classroom, and supervises students throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school graduation or GED.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Flexible and able to adjust your daily routine.
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Help teacher prepare instructional materials and displays.
• Maintain a neat and orderly classroom.
• Assist with inventory and upkeep of equipment and supplies.
• Support teacher with administrative records and reports.
• Orient and assist substitute teachers.
• Assist students with disabilities including transfers and positioning.
• Assist students with physical needs and personal care.
• Support behavior management and crisis intervention as needed.
• Attend staff development and meetings as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in required duties.
