Job summary

Harmony Science Academy - Dallas Elementary (K-5) seeks a dedicated instructional aide to support teachers and students in a functional elementary setting. The role focuses on assisting with academic goals for students, small-group or individualized instruction, and helping manage classroom activities.

The position involves assisting with ARD/IEP processes, data entry for reports, and aiding in the development of differentiated instruction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Minimum of 48 college hours is preferred.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Texas Educational Aide Certification is preferred or the ability to acquire it.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with student academic goals by working with small groups or individuals.
• Support classroom management and behavior plans to create a positive learning environment.
• Supervise students during meals, recess, dismissal, and school events.
• Assist with ARD/IEP paperwork and data collection for special education reports.
• Help plan, prepare, and implement differentiated instruction for students.
