Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 48 college hours preferred.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Texas Educational Aide Certification preferred or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with student academic goals by working with small groups or individual students.
• Assist in enforcing classroom management and behavioral plans.
• Supervise students during breakfast, recess, lunch, dismissal, and events.
• Assist with ARD/IEP paperwork and data entry for reports and documents.
• Help plan, prepare, and implement differentiated instruction for students and groups.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
