Job summary

Pressley Ridge is seeking a Special Education Aide – Building Support to help implement individualized education and behavioral plans for students. The role supports crisis management and de‑escalation during the school day and in the community.

Responsibilities include assisting with lesson plans, daily routines, and documenting progress. Requires flexibility, patience, and a focus on student well‑being within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires a valid state driver's license, safe driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Requires experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Integrate experiential education into student’s daily programming.
• Assist assigned student in working through daily lesson plans as prepared by the teacher.
• Assist assigned student in participating in daily routine activities and recreational activities.
• Maintain daily communication with team members regarding student programming and progress.
• Maintain written records and complete daily ACCESS notes.
