Job summary

Pressley Ridge is seeking a Student Intervention Specialist to develop and monitor individualized behavioral health programs for assigned students. You will support classroom teachers with PBSPs and participate as a core member of the classroom team.

The role requires implementing behavioral interventions, documenting progress, and facilitating psychoeducational group activities. Strong collaboration with staff and families is essential for student success.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• ASL proficiency within two years of employment for the School for the Deaf.
• Requires a valid state driver’s license, safe driving record, and current auto insurance for all locations except Satellite programs.
• Experience working with youth preferred.
• Requires proficiency in handling behavioral interventions and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavioral health programs.
• Assist classroom teacher with PBSP development and monitoring.
• Administer behavioral assessments and document results.
• Instruct students in behavioral areas per IEP.
• Supervise students during the school day and participate in team meetings.

Education
