Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Para Educator to support students with IEP goals in a middle school setting. You will work under a certified staff member, assisting with instructional activities and maintaining confidentiality.

The position requires 60 college hours or a Para Pro exam, and a Para Educator license or equivalent credential. Prior experience with special education needs is preferred, with a 10-month term and competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional or substitute role experience preferred.
• Must meet Para Educator licensing/education requirements.
• Experience supporting students with IEP goals is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implement instructional lessons under supervision of a certified teacher.
• Familiarize with goals for mainstream/IEP students in the classroom.
• Assist in implementing functional curriculum as assigned.
• Follow behavioral programs and procedures as directed.
• Document student behavior as directed by the teacher.
• Collaborate with the teacher and prepare materials.
