Job summary

Fulton County Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional to support teachers and students in classrooms or media centers. Responsibilities include assisting with materials, small-group instruction, attendance, and daily routines, with additional duties as assigned.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and meet Georgia requirements (GACE para or 60 sem hours / 90 quarter hours or an Associate's degree). Physical duties include lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional mobility tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass the GACE para assessment; 60 sem hours or 90 quarter hours with C or better; an Associate's Degree or higher is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in preparing educational materials.
• Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Assist with daily routines: distribute/collect supplies, attendance, grading quizzes as assigned.
• Participate in lunchroom, recess, hall-monitoring, and bus duties.
• Help prepare and maintain bulletin boards and learning centers.
