Job summary

Pearland ISD is seeking a dedicated Educational Assistant to support a special education teacher in a Pearland campus. You will help prepare instructional materials, assist with self-help and behavior management, and collect data under the supervision of a certified teacher.

Responsibilities include implementing classroom programs, maintaining confidential information, and assisting with students with disabilities in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate (can be obtained after hire).
• Associate's degree or two years of college coursework.
• Two years of experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Assist the special education teacher with classroom activities and preparation.
• Implement classroom programs, including self-help and behavior management.
• Collect data and assist with instruction under supervision.
• Support students with disabilities in daily academic tasks.
