Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing learning experiences for students in the program.
• Confer with teachers to provide feedback on student performance in tutorial and testing activities.
• Interpret IEPs and related instructional plans within guidelines.
• Instruct students in small group and one-on-one settings.
• Revise lesson plans or strategies to meet IEP goals and objectives.
• Conduct student testing and record scores; inform teachers of issues.
• Help students develop positive relationships with peers and adults.
• Promote student safety and self-confidence.
• Implement behavior management programs and assist with related training.
