Responsibilities

• Assess students to identify learning issues and plan corrective actions.
• Assist in developing IEPs and PPT meetings.
• Support implementation of IEPs and behavior plans.
• Coordinate with outside agencies and school staff as needed.
• Liaise with parents to foster student growth and communication.
• Maintain records and share information with colleges and employers as required by policy.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and research in education.
• Assist in selecting books and supplies and maintain inventories.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
