Evergreen Public Schools Hollingsworth Academy in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Special Education 1:1 Paraeducator Bus Duty. This part-time role supports the bus driver on the home-to-school route and assists with student safety and paperwork.

The position requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work with students who require 1:1 supervision. 190 days per year, 6:40–7:30 a.m., with benefits eligibility after hours worked.

Formación

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
• Demonstrated ability to work with and supervise students.
• Experience with behaviorally disabled students preferred.
• Must maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately and timely.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the bus driver in loading/unloading wheelchair-bound students on the regular route and during emergencies.
• Maintain a positive climate for students during transport.
• Complete daily behavior check forms and report to supervisor.
• Implement and monitor student behavior plans per IEP.
• Attend conferences with administrators, parents, and students as needed.
