Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Special Education Teacher and ARD Facilitator for the 2026/2027 school year in Texas. This full-time contract role focuses on inclusive instruction, ARD coordination, and IEP development for a junior high caseload.

You will lead ARD meetings, tailor instructional strategies, collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Current Special Education certification required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills essential.
• Ability to collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience as Special Education Teacher in junior high or middle school preferred.
• ARD facilitator background or training with knowledge of ARD processes and IEP development.

Responsibilities

• Manage a junior high caseload with direct specialized instruction.
• Prepare for, schedule, and lead ARD meetings.
• Develop and monitor IEPs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Modify curriculum and instructional strategies with staff.
• Communicate progress with families and coordinate with teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
