Job summary

Hart Middle School in Rochester Hills, Michigan is seeking a Special Education Resource Paraeducator to support students with disabilities during noon recess and other instructional activities. This full-time role is 7 hours per day, 5 days a week, following the 2026-27 calendar.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required with transcripts.
• Two years of college coursework or an associate degree accepted.
• Associate or higher degree preferred with transcripts.
• Must pass state/local tests showing knowledge in subject area.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with disabilities and support instructional programs.
• Follow behavior management plans and document progress.
• Prepare materials, supervise routines, and support transportation needs.
• Assist with class operations and activity participation including lunch, recess, and PE.
