Job summary

Paul J. Blackwell Learning Center in Elberton, Georgia seeks a paraprofessional for Special Education (Pre-K). The ESS employee will work under supervision of the Special Education Teacher and Principal during a 180-day year with a 32.5-hour week.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 60 semester hours required.
• Paraprofessional certificate issued by Georgia PSC required.
• Experience working with handicapped children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with materials and activities for instruction.
• Supervise students and support inclusive classroom activities.
• Maintain organized records and assist with routine clerical tasks.
• Implement behavior support plans under supervision.
