Job summary

Qualifications

• AA degree (minimum of 60 college credits) or successful Para Pro test or Para Educator Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute as a member of the special education team and support academic programs.
• Lead small groups and provide one-to-one follow-up to keep students on-task.
• Implement IEP adaptations and accommodations and provide assistive supports.
• Provide feedback to teachers on student participation, behavior, and activities.
• Promote a positive learning environment and advocate for student needs.
• Assist with mobility, self-care, and use of adaptive equipment as needed.
• Collect student data and help with transitions and behavior plans as directed.
