Job summary

Lakeville Area Schools is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional-Long Term Substitute for K-12 at Lakeville North High School. Responsibilities include supporting the special education team, leading small groups, and implementing IEP accommodations to help students stay on task.

The role requires an AA degree or ParaPro assessment; driving district vehicle may be involved for outings; the schedule runs 6.25 hours daily, with a start 9/3/2026 and end 11/23/2026.

Qualifications

• AA degree or ParaPro test or Para Educator Assessment required.
• Experience supporting students with IEP accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Support academic programs and lead small groups; provide one-to-one follow-up.
• Implement IEP adaptations and accommodations to promote independence.
• Collect student data as directed by teachers; maintain confidentiality.
• Assist with mobility, daily living activities, and safe classroom transitions.
