Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree or higher, or 48 college credits with C or higher, or passing ParaPro exam.
• Foundations of Classroom Support/Instruction certifications with required scores.
• Ability to perform proper restraint techniques and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to students.
• Assist with implementing lesson plans for individuals or small groups.
• Support data collection, testing, and student assessment.
• Assist with IEP/IFSP implementation.
• Monitor behavior and apply intervention strategies.
• Prepare instructional materials and assist with school duties.
• Support both in-person and virtual instruction as needed.
