Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree or 48 college credits with grade C or higher.
• Passing ParaPro exam (455+).
• Foundations of Classroom Support (517) with a score of 220+.
• Foundations of Classroom Support and Instruction (519) with a score of 220+.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to students during instruction.
• Implement lesson plans with individuals or small groups.
• Assist with data collection, testing, and assessment.
• Assist with IEP/IFSP implementation for students with special needs.
• Monitor behavior and apply behavioral strategies and plans.
• Assist with personal care needs including lifting, feeding, toileting.
• Prepare instructional materials for students as directed.
• Support school-wide duties and activities.
